Face recognition or fingerprints?
Personally, I think that face recognition and fingerprint recognition have their own advantages and disadvantages and cannot be generalized. Because most mobile phones now use screen fingerprint recognition, because the fingerprint sensor recognizes fingerprints through the gap of screen pixels, the success rate is not as good as the previous physical fingerprint recognition buttons. Especially when it is dry in winter, many people's fingerprints are relatively shallow, and it is often necessary to press the screen several times to recognize them normally. In the case of hot and humid summer, many people may have sweat stains on their fingers, which will also affect the success rate of screen fingerprint recognition. On the contrary, in the past, the success rate of entity fingerprint identification was higher, and it was more convenient and safer to use.

Also, fingers are not always in a complete state. For example, if you accidentally scratched your thumb in the gym not long ago, you can't use this hand for fingerprint recognition. As it happens, my left thumb may be severely peeled off due to lack of vitamins. Results Both hands could not be identified by screen fingerprint, but only by face recognition. However, face recognition is not foolproof. The most obvious example is that everyone has started wearing masks recently. The mask covers the nose and mouth, only the eyes are exposed, and most features of the face are covered. In this case, face recognition naturally cannot be used normally.

Although the face recognition of Apple's mobile phone supports learning function, such as many netizens wearing glasses, after a long time, the mobile phone will automatically remember the five senses of users wearing glasses and not wearing glasses, and both cases can recognize faces. But now there are too many places where masks cover your face. For security reasons, even through continuous learning, it is difficult for Apple phones to recognize faces normally. In addition, there are two kinds of face recognition, one is Apple's Face ID, which uses structured light sensors to realize face recognition, and some mobile phones of Huawei and Xiaomi also have similar functions. Structured light face recognition is to use countless infrared points to construct a 3D view of the face, which can reproduce most of the face details, so the recognition accuracy is higher and the safety factor is higher, and it can be used for face payment. The face recognition of ordinary Android phones generally uses the front camera to compare 2D photos, which has low recognition accuracy and low safety factor, and generally cannot be used for face payment.

So generally speaking, 3D structured light face recognition is better than screen fingerprint recognition in most cases, but it is not so good when wearing a mask. Ordinary front camera face recognition can only be used to unlock mobile phones, and is generally used to assist screen fingerprint recognition. Personally, I think it is best to use physical fingerprint identification keys, but there are not many mobile phones equipped with physical fingerprint keys now.
