Postpartum mother's exercise guide
Postpartum recovery, exercise is indispensable. But how to start? When does it start? Here are your answers.

♀? Postpartum activities

Whether it is a natural delivery or a cesarean section, mothers should start activities as soon as possible after delivery. Mothers who give birth naturally can get up for light activities within 6- 12 hours after delivery. Please sit up slowly for the first time and make sure someone helps you.

♀? Postpartum aerobic exercise

You can start walking around the room on the second day after delivery and do postpartum aerobics on time. If there is postpartum blood loss, please delay it appropriately and do what you can to ensure that someone takes care of it.

Wound recovery

For mothers with lateral episiotomy or cesarean section, please postpone the activity time appropriately. When the wound does not feel pain after stitches are removed, then start postpartum aerobic exercise.

Pay special attention to

If you are a cesarean section mother, please wait for the analgesic pump and catheter to be taken out before trying to go to the ground.

Exercise during bed rest

During bed rest, you can do deep breathing exercise, chest exercise, neck exercise, leg exercise and anal contraction exercise to keep your body function.

Back to normal

Three weeks after delivery, you can basically resume all normal activities.

♀? Exercise preparation

Before starting exercise, be sure to open the window for ventilation, wear loose clothes, empty your bladder, take off your pillow and exercise on the hard bed.
