2. Introduction to Youyang Peach Blossom Garden Youyang Peach Blossom Garden Scenic Area is 300 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing, with a total area of 50 square kilometers. It consists of eight parts: Xanadu, Taikoo Cave, Youzhou Ancient City, Taohuayuan National Forest Park, Taohuayuan Square, Taohuayuan Style Town, Youershan Xanadu Cultural Theme Park and Fantasy Taoyuan Live Play, which integrates karst geological wonders, Qin Jin farming culture, Tujia folk culture, natural ecological culture and leisure and health culture. According to legend, a group of Confucian scholars in Xianyang fled Xianyang with their poems and songs, passed through Hanzhong and Jianmenguan, descended along Jialing River, arrived in Jiangzhou (now Chongqing), along Yangtze River to Zhicheng (now Fuling), and then came up to Youyang along Wujiang River. From then on, they were isolated from the world and never heard from each other. They thrive here, living a life of "plowing green fields at sunrise and indulging in Xia Hong at sunset". Later generations have a poem saying: "Qin Huo wrote thousands of suicide notes, and several people were guilty of Yang Shan."
Taigudong
Taikoo Cave, also known as the "Peach Garden Secret Passage", is about 3 kilometers long and has a history of more than 300 million years. It is still growing and developing. The abode of fairies and immortals is huge and magnificent, with spacious halls, winding corridors, steep canyons, deep underground rivers, colorful stalactites and beautiful scenery. Stalactites are tall and straight, stalagmites are clustered, stone curtains are hung high, stone columns are towering, stone curtains are hung low, stone waterfalls are flying, and underground rivers are deep. The scale of caves is huge, which can be described as a collection of cave karst landscapes. The caves decorated with lights are colorful and dreamlike, which can be called "underground peach blossom garden". Professor Zhu, a world-renowned expert on karst caves, commented that the cave is a mysterious underground geological wonder with high scientific research value, a long history and a temple of art endowed by nature.
