On June 28th, 20001year, a computerized sports lottery sales system was established in our province. By August 2009, the province had sold nearly 4.3 billion yuan of sports lottery tickets and raised more than 6,543.84 billion yuan of public welfare funds for the country.
In Shaanxi Province, the sports lottery public welfare fund is not only used to build national fitness paths, various national fitness venues and farmers' sports fitness projects, but also used to build "Snow Charcoal Project" to strengthen the construction of sports venues in cities and counties in poverty-stricken areas of the province. Such as Yan 'an, Yulin, Shangluo, Hanzhong, Tongchuan and Ankang, 24,000 square meters of indoor sports facilities have been built. More than a thousand national fitness paths have been built in the whole province, and more than 500 national fitness paths and 50 national fitness demonstration stations have been built in Xi 'an alone, which has really benefited the people of Shaanxi and embodied the public welfare of "taking from the people, using them for the people, serving the whole society and benefiting the people".
