How to practice Tai Ji Chuan's Kung Fu?
Tai Ji Chuan is actually a kind of boxing with strong fighting skill and practicality. But now most people think that Tai Ji Chuan is just a kind of exercise for the elderly. This is because of an unrealistic reason in the popularization of Tai Ji Chuan. Because the requirement for training Tai Ji Chuan during popularization is not the traditional practical Tai Ji Chuan. This is also due to people's demand for fitness, such as some so-called "national standard routines, simplifying Tai Ji Chuan" and so on. , all belong to this type. Because most people are pursuing a healthy body by practicing Tai Ji Chuan, and many of them have achieved this goal. There are not many people who practice Tai Ji Chuan's pursuit of martial arts and actual combat ability, and most of them are descendants of traditional schools in Tai Ji Chuan. The real content of Tai Ji Chuan's actual combat ability training lies in various schools of traditional Tai Ji Chuan. Of course, some schools have lost the specific content of cultivating actual combat ability so far. In a word, the real thing is lost. There are two reasons: one is conservatism. Second, we don't pay attention to the cultivation of combat and offensive ability. Over time, those real good martial arts have been lost, which is very heartbreaking. This problem exists not only in Tai Ji Chuan, but also in other kinds of boxing. This is a common problem of traditional martial arts. Only a few traditional Tai Ji Chuan factions have truly grasped the essence of Tai Ji Chuan. If Tai Ji Chuan wants to have actual combat skills, he must first work hard. If you want to do kung fu, you must first choose the correct practice method. So what is the correct practice method? According to my personal experience in practicing Tai Ji Chuan for 30 years, (1) beginners must learn Tai Ji Chuan routines correctly. Beginners must first master the requirements of various parts of the body. There should be no big deviation, and the deviation should be corrected slowly in the continuous practice in the future, otherwise it will be difficult to learn martial arts well in the future and it will be impossible to use it. (2) First of all, the practice of basic skills must not be ignored. As the saying goes, "if you don't slip your legs when practicing boxing, you must be a daredevil." Traditional Tai Ji Chuan requires a lot of basic skills. Ligaments must be straightened, movements can be in place, footwall can be stable, and leg work can be improved. Some difficult movements can be made easily. Since we want to pursue the ability of fighting, we can't practice the law like those old people in the park. So basic training is the foundation. Followed by routine practice, commonly known as "food shelf", the basic skills are practiced, the movements can be done, and the shelf can be cooked. (3) After the basic skills and shelves are laid, it is necessary to practice pushing hands. The main practice of pushing hands is to practice pushing hands in pushing hands. Remember: every move is a punch, and repeated practice can be perfect. If you practice these eight forms, you will enter the door of Tai Chi Chuan. When practicing Tai Ji Chuan in the future, you should think about pushing hands with others; When pushing hands, you should think about practicing boxing; This is "no one seems like someone when practicing boxing, and someone seems like no one when pushing hands." In addition, you have to learn boxing theory and understand some simple essentials and boxing theory. Such as: virtual collar push, chest pull-back, shoulder sinking, elbow sinking, air sinking, knee bending, hip opening, round hip, chest holding, impartiality, wrist sitting and relaxation (mentioned above). These all need to be understood. Routine practice (food rack) is mainly to practice the middle and low rack, and pay attention to the low rack. As the saying goes, "laying the foundation under the shelf, practicing skills on the shelf, and practicing in the middle shelf." Getting off the shelf is a low shelf, and it takes a lot of effort to practice it. We have twenty-four, forty-two and seventy-four Tai Ji Chuan. Suitable for people at all stages to practice. When you practice, you should focus on slowness, not counting time. You should learn something from each set of exercises. Because there is only "slow work and fine work." It must be done. This is also the only way to practice Tai Ji Chuan Kung Fu. When practicing: looseness, softness, elasticity, entanglement and bow are indispensable. The best time to practice is one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. The next set should be practiced for at least one year. After practicing the next set and laying the foundation, your waist and legs will be greatly improved and your whole body will be relaxed. It's called kung fu. In Tai Ji Chuan's practice, we should be clear about Yin and Yang and know the actual situation. It is storing hair, opening and closing, breathing, sucking, left and right, rigid and flexible, advancing and retreating, up and down, back and forth, inside and outside, etc. You know, every movement of Tai Ji Chuan should be divided into yin and yang, and the movements and breathing should be coordinated. The joints of the whole body should be flexible and coordinated, and five bows should be prepared in one body. The upper body can't be trained into a flat plate, and the joints of the whole body should be coordinated when moving. In this way, over time, you will practice hard and kung fu will come out. At this time, combined with practice, you will have a deeper understanding, experience and mastery of Tai Ji Chuan's powerful methods, and lay a good foundation for the cultivation of actual combat ability. At ordinary times, we should also practice simplex regularly, that is, practice each formula in Tai Ji Chuan's routine separately and repeatedly, so that we can flexibly master the usage of each formula in Tai Ji Chuan.
